Статистичне порівняння піратства та збройних пограбувань з акцентом на Південно-Китайське море – протоку Малакка та Перську затоку – Ормузську протоку
Анотація
Міжнародні торговельні потоки завжди були предметом геополітичних ризиків і конфліктів. На різних етапах поставок торгівля завжди стикається з притаманними їй викликами, спричиненими геополітичними реаліями на певних маршрутах. У цьому дослідженні були враховані дані про піратство та збройні пограбування суден відповідно до Глобальної інтегрованої інформаційної системи судноплавства. Статистика включає інформацію про інциденти за період між 1998 та 2018 роками на різних типах кораблів у двох стратегічних районах: Південно-Китайське море (ПКМ) і протока Малакка (район 1); Ормузська протока та Перська затока (район 2). Згідно з повідомленнями GISIS, більшість інцидентів сталося в Південно-Китайському морі та протоці Малакка –1684 та 610 випадків відповідно. Через велике значення як Ормузської протоки, так і протоки Малакка, які є найважливішими водними шляхами світу, необхідно мати чітку картину ситуації щодо безпеки в цих протоках.
Це дослідження дозволило: 1) виявити відмінність між безпекою у двох згаданих районах; 2) представити джерело інформації для дослідників.
